We live in a time of constant uncertainty, a time of endless opportunity yet a time of growing clandestinity.
2020 just doesn’t have the same ring to it as former years.
I’ve always held strong opinions and a willingness to voice them to those open to listen, I’d like to believe that I reciprocate that interest with an equal level of unbiased and understanding. Yet as we enter the new year, an air of aggression and unrest seems present throughout society, views that previously passed for sociable small talk now run the risk of social rejection in a time when more people are connected than ever.
Does access to information deepen social divides? Or maybe disinterest is bred through mass ignorance, the common cold of society. I’m not asking anyone to agree with me, or to change their views based of pixels from the screen of a stranger, even to those who disagree with me completely I hope for one thing –
Question what’s around you.
Question what’s around you until there is no stone left unturned, no link left un-clicked and no evidence left unviewed.
If you’ve read this far, I thank you for your time.
